Department of Student Life (DSL)
Dear Ms. Balisado-Villarin,
I am inviting you as one of the co-researchers in a study on LIFE WITH EASE (NAKAKALUWAG): A HERMENEUTIC-PHENOMENOLOGICAL STUDY TOWARDS A PEDAGOGY FOR SUSTAINABLE LIVING. Along with this study are the 3 stages of information gathering, namely: (1) Journal Writing, (2) Narration and (3) Interview.
I will ask you some questions about nakakaluwag as a Filipino value that envisions a sustainable future. You may answer the first set of guide questions that I will provide you and give back to me personally your responses or send or email them at ingles.antonio@gmail.com on or before (please write your preferred date) ___________________. After you have submitted your journal entries, we will meet for a narrative session on or before (please write your preferred date) ___________________, for you to freely share your story about your significant nakakaluwag lived experiences. Finally, in another separate session on or before (please write your preferred date) ___________________ I will ask you about what you have written and narrated.
The results of this study will apply new insights into continuing education and research for sustainable living. The Filipino value nakakaluwag may introduce an alternative pedagogical frame and propose values re-orientation for sustainable living. I guarantee that your responses will not be identified with you personally. They will be utilized solely for the purpose of academic study and will not be disclosed to any other person or agency without your express consent. I promise not to share any information that identifies you with anyone outside our research group. If you have any questions or concerns, you may contact me at 09178661006. Asian Social Institute has approved this study.
Sincerely,
Antonio Levy S. Ingles, Jr.
